I honestly don't see the White Sox making a strong run this year. The AL Central will come down between the Twins and the Tigers and the loser will be in contention for the Wild Card. They have a bring year ahead of them.

Hmm, as a Twins fan i have to stay positive at times. Despite Liriano out for the season, Radke retired, and a problem at 3rd base and left fielder, the Twins will find a way to win. They are the team that proves that you can still win without alot of money.
Look at last year, they came from 12 games uner .500 and at the end where were they? 1st place in the division.
Through out the second season, Liriano and Radke barely even played. So add those two pitchers then the Twins would be a GUN in the playoffs.
Next season? 08 Season? They will make a surprise run once again, Twins are not the team to underestimate or go easy on.

Most will say that they haven't done anything to improve their team during the offseason. However, most people forget that the Twins are never major players in the offseason. They had a young team last year, which is only going to improve their chances this year. With a little experience under their belts now, they are poised to do well in '07. Your question say '08, but I'm guessing you meant '07. With their young team though, I don't see any reason why they won't be contending for at least a couple of years!

2007 comes before 2008 (at least it does at Detroit Public Schools, not sure how they do that in MN).
Even without Liriano & Radke The Twins will find a way to win.
I see The Twins & The Tigers battling it out all season for the top spot. The other will take the wild card.
and oh yeah, the whinny sux might finish as high as 4th place (KC might surprize everyone and beat those skanky southside crybabies!)

Did I sleep thru 2007?
As has been the case for the past 4-5 years they'll be in the hunt for the playoffs. What they do when they get there is anyone's guess. Whenever I think they'll be done quick, they get to the ALCS. Whenever I think they're going far, it's 3 & out.

I see the Twins making the Wild Card, falling behind to the AL Champs the Tigers. They'll get into the post-season, but won't go very far.

I'd like to see a battle down to the wire between the Sox and the Twins. But I'd like to see the Sox win it all again.
