I am young and my ex-boyfriend and i had sex. it was my first time and we didn't think about useing a condom... i thought i was pregnant. i was pretty sure. i just didn't have the money to get a pregnancy test. plus most of my friends said that you can't get pregnant your first time. i don't want to worry my ex, by telling him my consernces. he is 18 and in collage and is broke... i still love him and i don't want him to get scared. i think i miscarried... i know that there is no way of telling since i never found out for sure if i was pregnant or not. but i was about 2 months late, spent a day in bed with cramps (the worst cramps in my life, i was in fetal position crying), then i had a blood clot about the size of a golf ball. since then (it was about 2 days ago) i have flet really wierd. like weak and i even had to miss today at school, my first day all year. i am not old enough to be a parent and i just want to know if i did miscarry or not. thanks...

It sounds like it.

Go to the hospital or call Planned Parenthood. It's not enough to just 'know you miscarried'. Someone needs to do an ultrasound to make sure everything's gone. If material is left inside, it will eventually cause an infection and then you'll have to explain that to your parents. There is no other cause for an infection like that.

Planned Parenthood's hotline number is 1-800-230-PLAN. Tell them what happened, they'll get you an appointment, and check to make sure you're okay. Please. I don't want to see you back here in ten years asking how to get your fertility back ... because those kinds of infections can destroy your reproductive system.

And YES, do tell your boyfriend you miscarried. He should have been RESPONSIBLE and used a condom. Maybe that will scare him into using protection. He's older than you? How much older? Are you young enough for it to be illegal? When you're at Planned Parenthood pick up some free condoms, and ask about other kinds of birth control for next time.

You CAN get pregnant your first time. Your friends are IDIOTS. Get some pamphlets for them while you're at the clinic, because they NEED them. And since you're underage everything will be free. Get fertility advice from your DOCTOR or a NURSE, not a teenage girl.

It does sound like you could have. I miscarried at 8 weeks and had about the same size clotting with cramping after I passed it. You need to talk to your mom and have her take you to the doctor. It might be hard to tell her, but if you don't, and you WERE pregnant they need to make sure all of the fetal tissue is gone or it can cause an infection that can lead to you not being able to have kids later when you are ready for them. Also it is a common myth that a lot of kids buy into....You CAN get pregnant your first time.

Sorry but yes, it does sound like you miscarried. You really should go to the hospital or go see a doc so that they can make sure your body expelled the whole thing. There is a serious risk of infection if the entire "products of conception" were not completely expelled by your body. You may need a D & C to help get the rest out.

As for your friends telling you that you can't get pregnant your first time, hon that's a big, horrible myth. You can get pregnant whether it's your first or 300th time...I'd advise you to go ahead and tell your boyfriend. If he loves you like he should, he'll be a good support for you. Also, it just might make the both of you *think* about using protection the next time around-especially if neither one of you are wanting to be parents right now.

Good luck to you.

I miscarried in Jan 08 and that is devastating once you opt for a infant lots. You actual purely could have confidence that infant wasn't meant to be and stay beneficial you have yet another. regrettably there's a one million in 4 possibility each and every time you get pregnant which you will miscarry so which you maximum likley had undesirable success. have confidence and attempt returned while waiting. My husband and that i desperate that it would make us chuffed to be pregnant returned and conceived the very next month and went directly to have a healthful woman in November. good success and purely know it gets greater helpful.

First of all, whoever told you you cannot get pregnant your first time is WRONG. Second, if you were pregnant and have miscarried, you DESPERATELY need to get to a doctor to make sure there are no complications from the miscarriage, you may need what is called a D&c to clean out your uterus. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!

well it is hard to tell since you never took a test, but with a clot that size, i would assume so...was there more bleeding after/before the clot? If so, than yes you miscarried. good luck!

that sounds alot like a miscarriage. If you did you can still go to your dr and they can take a blood test to find out. If you did you would still show a postive pregnancy result even now.

unfortunately it sounds like it. if you are still bleeding you need to go to the hospital. some women have a hard time cleaning out a miscarried baby on their own.
