Configuring linksys wrtg54gs router for online gaming?

Question

I play Counter Stike source usung the steam servers and my new linksys router needs to be configures correctly because it says my ping is to high to enter any of the severs until after waiting like 10 min then it finaly goes in. add me to yahoo messenger if have to.

type http://192.168.1.1 password "admin"

go to Applications & Gaming
and add the port you use with counter strike. usually "27015"
