what's the quickest way to clean up a carpet with a giant water puddle in it?

Get a towel, put it on the carpet, and step on it. This will dry up the water, but you'll have a dirty towel that you'll have to wash.

Get a towel or a sizable cleaning rag and push down on it. You don't want to scrub, just blot up the water.

Towels and a space heater. It's only water, so it won't ruin your carpet probably.

Towels, dear. Or try a wet/vac if u have one....Then set up a fan to dry.

Lots of towels and you can try drying it (after the towel drying) with a blow dryer.

grab a sock and apply lots of pressure. it works on orange juice even.
