It is so OK! Trust me. Some people sweat more than others. It's genetic. Your child is a sweater! Breastmilk is hot when it comes out. When he's older, he will sweat whenever he drinks his hot tea or cocoa! Just do like the others said and take off his clothes so he's just in a tee-shirt or onesie.

I have a daughter and when she breastfeeds this also happens to her. It also happen sometimes when she takes a nap. I really wouldn't worry, some people just sweat when they sleep, it used to happen to a friend of mine when they were not completely comfortably like if they were sleeping at someone else's house. Maybe you had something on your son that you normally take him out in and you may want to consider putting him in pj's or something that loose and free feeling.

Ask your pediatrician to rule anything out. In the meantime, do you have him dressed to warm, or is a blanket or your shirt covering his face too much?

of course he needs the breast feeding. just try to let him be uncovered as much as possible while he nurses - at home and where you are comfortable.
