I have pro, I think it performs exactly the same as basic...I mean it takes about the same time to download, and you can't guarentee that you will get the download you want...e.g need more sources!! Stick to basic hun.

should be able to get the pro version on limewire using the basic version

the basic is good enough, besides you can find the Pro version free in some pirate web sites ;)

the pro version is $18 for 6mths free updates and beta versions after your 6 mth expires you gain a discount to continue with them it is advised that you do this in order to obtain professional customer service and faster file transfer speeds and more accurate search results............... yes you can download copies illegally however from previous experiences they are not the most recent version and sometime include spyware and registry hacks.

LIMEWIRE gives you horrible viruses! I downloaded limewire and had it for like, a month, and i got a virus where the compy was frozen on EXTREMLY GNASTY nude pictures(according to my parents)
It's probably easier to use itunes.

use basic to download pro.... BE SURE TO VIRUS SCAN IT FIRST!
theres a lot of dodgy versions going around.

it's worth it if you don't pay for it. if you have basic, go to programs, click it, then, for your search item, type in lime wire pro. odd are you will have it before the end of the day!!
