This question is a generalization and like all generalizations it invites exceptions. With that caveat in mind, the short answer is no. I have traveled in the far east several times for business and pleasure and am married to a Chinese woman. In my personal experience, in Japan and elsewhere in the far east, black people are associated with crime, violence, disrespect for education and a low sense of personal honor.
I am sure this is not the answer you hoped for and I'm sorry about that but it was honest. Perhaps you can visit there and present a more positive image and help dissuade them of their prejudice.

I'm Japanese, and people are split into about thirds, I believe. One third think that black people are criminals: the second third think that black people are cool and they like the black people because there are more celebrities who are black in Japan today: and the last third just don't like foreign people.
Japanese people are stereotypical--if one race does something bad, then many people think that race is bad. Well, I think that black people are welcomed in Japan compared to other races. As long as you are open to them, willing to be friendly and learn Japanese, yes, then they might accept you.
But I think it's the same for any country, but there are both good and bad people--you can't say that one country is going to accept this race or not--for example, there are people in the US who accepts Middle Easterners while others do not.

Think different. Do you like Japanese people and will you accept them in your country? You will find the answer.

Why go to Japan, when you can see them all around you here at home, in the US.
I can find a fresh Sushi here without going to Tokyo or Kobey.

black guys are pretty popular over here if you
1) have a good sense of humor
2) good at dancing
3) an excellent singer (hopefully)
4) really strong in '%X$''&X#X!!!!!
