i want it on my name only
i dont want aim to be downloaded on my dad and moms name as well
how can i do that on my computer?

i have a PC and i want to download aim but i dont want my parents to log into the computer and have aim on their name.

Create an AIM account and download GAIM and that will log you into all IM's at once. from http://gaim.sourceforge.net/
Download the 2.0.0betta4

First of all, if your mother and father have an account with aol, then they are responsible for those accounts, often these accounts can have 2 or 3 accounts rolled into one. Best thing, check with mom or dad, preferably "Mom and Dad" first, have them set up an account for you.

just download it on your profile on the computer and it will only be on whatever name you download it on

After you download it and install, u will chose this user only... instead of all and it will only install to your profile.

it really doesn't matter. if you had it downloaded, i could come over and log on with my name.
