i want to visit the strip but i'm afraid since it's new years there will be more people than usual.Well there be alot of people partying.I just want a little mellow party or just a couple of drinks...i'm not into noise.Have you been there before?well it be bad?

It's pretty crazy on the weekends, let alone Vegas! I would think twice of just wanting to go out for a couple drinks. There are some great restaurants for a romantic drink./ Try the Top of the World restaurant at the Stratosphere.

If you want mellow, don't go to Vegas. They do things over the top. Vegas and NYC are the top 2 destinations for NYE.

Actually, it is a wonderful place for New Years, if you like gambleing. Well, I could do without the champane and spirits, but the fire works are cool!
