Someone who is comfortable in their own skin...who is self-confident without being egotistical. Someone who accepts others, does not feel the need to gossip or put others down and can be at home in any crowd is very sexy!
It is definitely not all about looks....some of the most physically attractive people are so insecure and catty that it makes them ugly!

It's a state of mind. The person who is making the assessment has certain benchmarks they like to see in another, usually but not always of the opposite sex. Let's say there are 10 items on the list, they will be height, weight, body shape, body extras (boobs, legs, bum for female and biceps and pecs for male), hair colour and style, facial features, age, appearances (clothes), personality, what they do (actor, singer etc). If the person rates between 0 and 5, well, they're just another person. For 6 to 8, they're looking good, they appeal and meet more than half to three quarters of the requirements. A 9 and the person is hot, PHEW! Get a 10 (like Bo Derek did) and boy oh boy, that's something great. Looking at your avatar, you're at least an 8.....hehe, you sexy thing you!

Well, sexy means attractive. It's not all about looks in some cases but, in most cases yes it is about looks. Sometimes men comprehend the word sexy as a thin female in ligere. Somewomen may defeine sexy as a heroic man with muscles and the brave look. But in most cases it is about looks.

I think for most people it starts out as looks. I'd be lying if I said the first time I saw my husband I was thinking I bet he has a good attitude or that he was smart! No I was thinking "Damn, he's hot!" But it turned out that he had those other qualities too. (Lucky for me!) I actually find him more sexy now then I did when we married nine years ago. It's his looks, his confidence, how hard he works, how loyal he is...etc! He's an great dad and husband, and it makes me more attracted to him.

The term is somewhat like the ancient Roman term Maestas. You could be imprisoned and executed by the Emperor. It was a charge only he could make. Also the term mafioso. It's current only in Italy to get the full intent. Sensuousness in an understated way. No, it has nothing to do with looks.

I love confidence, attitude, personality, and intelligence. These things combined with a man's sexy smile turns me on. And if he is honest and respectful, that's even better.
