i no wat you meen... and it is stuppid.
seriously,I think that we should at least make an attempt to spell accuratley,but as you have pointed out-It is quite immature to disreguard serious questions opting to rather point out a typo. and miss or not even consider that someone may really need help.
Another thing that irks me is 10 page long scrolling answers.

Spelling incorrectly gives people a negative image because it shows you have no consideration for the English language and do not like to follow rules. It is fine to accidentally misspell a word or two occasionally, but to do it repeatedly just doesn't make sense. Why would you want to be regarded as having less than average intelligence?

Misspellings are okay, but if the question can never make sense no matter how many ways you try to reread it, the asker should learn to spell.

Many people feel that correct spelling shows a person's attention and caring for their communications, and for the person they are communicating with. It shows respect for the language as well.

I really don't know. Surely there are more important things in life. The funniest thing is that invariably, the guys who complain about it spell something wrong in their post. Sweet irony.

It doens't offend me, it just bothers me because it is not correct, I have OCD about that, if I spell or type something incorrectly I have to go back and fix it until it is correct.

doesnt bother me and I bet alot of the misspellings we see on here are keyboard errors. the bottom line is that those people are just way too uptight !!!!!
