Are you sure it's not downloading? DSL downloads much faster than dial-up. Did you check your destination folder and see if the file got there?

There are many possible reasons. Your firewall could be blocking a certain site (either windows firewall or another such as Norton), you are using internet in a public facility that does not allow you to download, you have a virus, or your DSL connection is not working. Go to the following link and test your internet connection http://www.pcpitstop.com/ Click on internet speed to test both the upload and download speed of your connection. Also, you may have downloads disabled; go to tools >> internet options >> advanced and see if you have downloads disabled. Your popup blocker may also be preventing you from downloading; turn it off temporarily by clicking on tools >> popup blocker >> turn off popup blocker.

Depends, I feel you may have your "privacy" or "security" or "pop-up blocker" set to high, so basically your missing the download information or transfer window.

Please provide more information. What error messages are you receiving (if any)? What browser are you using (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, etc.)? What Operating System are you using (XP Home, XP Pro, ME, 98, Mac, Unix, etc.)?
