i have enough money for the ps3 or wii but which one would be best.

depends on ur age and budget
the wii is for younder gamers, 1/2 the price, and has more-kid oriented games
the ps3 is for older, RPG games. expensive, and has GREAT GRAPHICS.

Pretty much look at what OLDER GAMES you have.
If you have PS1 & PS2 games, then the logical choice would be to pick up the PS3.
If you have Gamecube games, then the Wii would be good purchase.
If this is your FIRST GAME SYSTEM, I would highly suggest picking up the Nintendo Wii as it's more user-friendly for new gamers & the games are fun to play (like reliving your childhood). You can also play your old Gamecube games on it (requires Gamecube controllers & memory cards) & you can even pick up the classics (like the Legend of Zelda) through the Virtual Console for about or less than the cost of the actual game on eBay.
The PS3 may have more power & a Blu-Ray player, but it's not that innovative.

U should buy the wii. Because it is a lot cheaper, free online sweet motion sensitivity. Plus it has a way better games at launch then then the ps3. Also it will be easier to get!

get a wii. ps3 and xbox 360 are jokes. they have built-in dvd players! oh boy! so what? i have a dvd player. i dont need no game system to do my dvd players job. the true champ of video games is nintendo. i dont care how great the graphics are on the ps3. game systems should be focused on gameplay, not dvd players or grphis. wii graphics are sharp and not as terrible as everyone says, plus it comes with a free game.www.nintendo.com states they sold more wiis than ps3 and xbox 360s COMBINED! i mean it, get a wii!

PS3 is an over advertised machine....
OMG, it has Blue Ray. Wow, big freaking mistack. No one has ever even heard of "BLUE RAY". That means it must suck.. It doesn't even have vibrating controllers. Who would buy the system that cant even vibrate. I don't want to write a novel, so don' buy the PS3.
BUY THE SWEETEST NEWEST GAMING SYSTEM.
THE Wii all the way.
Don't even think of buying a PS3.

well i was watching this thing on wat system is better (PS3 or WII). now I'm a X box fan but if i had to buy one of those systems then it would be PS3. the wii seams like its control is hard to use and the PS3 i know has some good graphics
PS; i saw this guy who had the we. and when he was using it it excidently came out of his hand and it broke

go with the ps3, I've not seen any good games for the wii only games that would be good for my baby brother.
the ps3 runs 4x's faster than the ps2, comes with the hard drive, the blueray disc player, 6axis wireless controller, and can process 1.4 TRILLION calculations per second.

wii is so much better than the ps3 the ps3 controller soesnt even vibrate that is so whack and lame!but the wii is so freakin cool.

since u have enough go for ps3 but its extremly heavy and large and it doesn't come with a stand or free game!!!!! and you will still have money left over to buy other wii games

the wii it is cheaper which means u can get more games for it. also, the motion sensitive remote control is awesome, and the wii is backwards compatible.
