Just curious...heard it was true but I wanted to verify that.

I don't know that it's true, but a curvier and thereby healtier body would be able to support a pregnancy better than one that was too thin.
Historically, like in cave-man days this is why men were attracted to large-breasted women, it meant they had larger/more mammary glands to feed children better. I forget where I heard that, but I like to believe it, heh. I guess that's one instinct men just haven't shaken... :)

I don't know about the fertility thing, but I'm sure that women with curvier shapes definitely get more opportunities to test this hyposthesis. Skinny girls just don't do it for most guys, despite what the media wants you to think.

delia hit the nail on the head. The only proven thing scientists have found is that an hourglass figure does provide easier births.

no. However, women with very fat midsection may be less fertile b/c more fat deposits in the abdominal area is a symptom of policystic ovaries

No, it's just that they can carry babies and give birth to them easier, cuz they have wide hips. In primitive days though that was the belief.

I know they carry children (bare the weight) and birth them easier.

not only they r.........but women with average weight r too fertile....
and also this fertilization depends on the sperm most

never heard that...they are probably more likely to have natural child birth - more open birth canal - seriously-that's what hips are for...
