Are we collapsing under the ongoing stress from the war or have we been stuck in this blackhole of insuing pressure of being something better than what we are... or is it just me?

I am not American but from an outsider looking in, you are a very divided country. This is the last two years of this administration. It is time to heal your country and try and regain some of the worlds respect and admiration. Just from the posting on this site, it looks like a civil war, brothers against brothers all because of your political views. That may all be part of the democracy (and yes live in one) but there is such a thing as self respect for yourselves and your other citizens. The name calling and BS that goes on this site, makes many Americans look, uneducated, cold and well rather immature.

It's just you. When the war in Iraq is resolved, there will just be another issue that seeks to divide the country. Bad news pays the bills for the liberal media.

here is what i think and know from all the knowledge i have gathered alright. No one no where is our problem nor could determine this countries furture its history tells how it shall be you see now i dont be on here with no grand furture predicting but the future is not grand nor great for the continent nor was the past!
hay i could fill up six full pages as to the way it all is but hay i shall never do that!

Don't worry , America shall prevail however it will be another 5 or 6 years before Amercian foreign affairs smooth out ok.

Sad to say, but this country is quickly going down the shitter!!!!
Give it about 50 yrs..............maybe!! It will make the movie "Escape From NY" look like a Disney cartoon!!!
