Right, in algebra you have the Co-efficient which in this case is seven, and the variable, which in this case is u. being a variable u can have any numeric value whatsoever, from zero to infinity, and can be a minus number too, again from zero to infinity, although minus zero is just zero all the same.
Let's assume that in this case u=3. Ergo 7u = 21 (7x3).
