Depending on whether you're looking for a picture book with a "I love Grandpa" feel or a novel about older kids that have a good relationship with their grandfather. If you want a good novel, I suggest Stand Tall by Joan Bauer. It is really good. I also enjoyed Rash by Pete Hautman. It had a very memorable grandpa character. I absolutely loved him. The first line goes something like "Gramps, who was born in 1990..." so it's a futuristic setting and probably not the most appropriate choice here. As far as picture books are concerned:

The Grandpa Book by Todd Par
40 Uses for a Grandpa by Harriet Ziefert
My Grandpa and I (Board book) by P. K. Hallinan
Grandpas Are For Finding Worms (Lift-the-Flap, Puffin) by Harriet Ziefert and Jennifer Plecas

A good book about Grandpa's what?

I'd recommend: "Eats, Shoots & Leaves" by Lynne Truss. ;)

Okay, joking aside, try "My Grandpa is Amazing" by Nick Butterworth.
