Can you connect a printer that has more mb's than your computer?

my computer has 64 mb's and the printer i bought has 200. Some one told me a printer would work on any computer. Is that true? I hate to take it out of the box and it doesn't work. Thanks for any answers you can help me with

Yes - the memory isn't part of the equasion here. As long as your computer's O/S and the printer are compatable, things should be fine.

The printer's memory allows the printer to be fed more information before it actually starts printing.
