hmm...what's a good current issue to write about?

This is a list of some of the papers I've done in the last couple of terms: global warming, alternative fuels, mental health access and parity, role of fine arts in education, why exercise is important to one's future, illegal immigration and the impact on school resources, driving with cell phones, school bullying.

Other possibilities: rainforest deforestation, smog and air quality in CA, welfare reform, pervasive technology, health care reform, why/why not position on instituting a national draft or mandatory service, library funding.

Things my profs have said they NEVER want to see again: abortion, gun control, legalizing marijuana.
