Every time I get online and go to yahoo answers, there's hundreds of questions asking what to do about...dog has christmas tree needles stuck in it's throat, cat is puking up blood, dog got run over and his guts are hanging over the tree limb where he landed.....questions like this make me want to stay away from answers....I mean...Does it not dawn on people to take the suffering animal to the VET?!?! and if you can't afford the care, either put the animal down or ask the Tech's if anyone would be interested in taking it. WHY do people let their pets suffer? Why would you even concider letting them outside where there's more dangers and risk of them getting sick and/or getting a nasty disease?? not mention getting run over or the neighbors pet getting ahold of it... I don't get it! (I may be PMSing, I don't know, but the most ridiculous questions get asked). ahem, ok I'm better now.

I agree with you 100%!! We must be responsible pet owners! They are helpless and depend on us! If a person can't afford Vet care they shouldn't have a pet. They need shots, spaying, neutering, declawing, and cats need to be kept inside and dogs walked and not just let loose. To many dangers to just let them loose! They are like our babies!

once you're a Christian and settle for evolution then you easily taken out gods position and in case you do no longer settle for creation then what makes you've self belief interior something of the what the bible attributes to be the artwork of god? also once you've self belief that god is on the lower back of evolution then you easily are not to any extent further accepting the clinical evolution a l. a. Darwin yet have made up your human being version which has no longer something to do with authentic evolution.

I agree with you... If your animal is sick and you don't know how to treat it - take it to the vet. There's no substitute for a professional advice. Yes, it does incite me when people say - "but I can't afford the vet fees". Most of the time, it just means - "I don't feel like spending $50 on the vet visit when I can go party with my friends this weekend instead". But... what canya do. I spent lots of $$ on vet fees over the years of having pets... It's just part of the budget.

There's alot of people in this world who shouldn't have pets. I hate reading all those questions too. I have two small dogs that I treat like children. Some people have pets but cant afford to take them to vets. They don't look at it like we do. It's a real shame. If you know of any animal abuse report it. Just like you would if a child was being abused. They don't have a voice but we do.

Agreed. And if you post something where you call the poster ignorant, or not using common sense, you get a nasty 'violation' email about being insulting.

Im reminded of a saying "We have enough youth. How 'bout a fountain of smart?"

I believe that most of the people asking absolutely absurd questions are attention whores, probably under the age of 14.

See the question "Should I give my dog a condom?" and you will see what I mean.

I have wondered the same thing. Makes you wonder why they even have a pet to begin with if they don't have any better sense than to let it suffer.

i know people like to get various opinions, but yeah, they need to go to a certified vet. Its not fair to make their animals suffer by not going to a vet. this is just sad!
