Be allowed to marry and/or adopt children? Why or why not? Try to be orginal and NOT say because the bible said so. We all know you think it's against God, and that's fine, but I want to know what YOU as a person thinks.

So to you who say no, you'd rather see a child in what? An abusive home? A single parent home? I also asked of you to be orginal. Can't do it? Tell me why YOU {not God!!!} thinks it's wrong.

One of you were perfectly right there has been gay relationships in nature, check out what went on the the penguins that were being studied.

Someone should study the laws of our land. It's not illegal to be gay...just to be married. How silly to think that it's illegal to be gay, that one will have me in stitches all day. Thanks!

Marriage should be about love. I love my partner very much and have been with her for 5 years. My brother is staight and has married 3 times since my relationship strted with my partner. I feel robbed of the right to marry who I want to. We have talked of children and talked to lawyers. The only way we could adopt is if I do not even mention I am gay. Not even mention I have a partner. I would love to marry the woman I love and raise a child. In these days and times it will never happen.

Of course LGBT should be able to marry and adopt children. Anything else would perpetuate a state of "separate but equal," and should be unconstitutional. Not permitting same-sex marriage and adoption is discrimination, pure and simple.

Religion has no say in rights that are given and administered by the STATE, such as the ones that cover adoption, marriage, inheritance and taxation for married couples.

Yes, they should have the same rights as everyone else. . ANd as long as the child is given a good loving stable enviornment there is no reason for them to not be allowed to adopt. And to anyone who says well if they adopt a child, the child will be gay too... thats ridicolous... cuz where do gay people come from? Straight heterosexual parents.

Yes, I believe that they should. Why take away their rights, simply because they're a tad different from what most people are used to?

I don't see why they shouldn't be allowed to. In fact, there is no legitimate reason. There is no harm in allowing gays to marry and adopt children.

i personally am like a total homophobe and everything so in most cases i am against homosexual marraiges and everything. But i really think that gays should still be allowed to adopt. You can still have a relationship without marraige. but just because your not heterosexual doesnt mean you cant raise a child just as good as some straight dude

I think gays should be allowed to both marry and adopt children. Gays are just as much a part of society as anyone else and they should have the same rights as everyone else. Discriminating against gays is just as bad a discriminating against someone for their race, or gender.....It's something they can not control...I mean, feelings are feelings. And as far as adopting goes, the discrimination comment applies....It shouldn't matter whether it's two women or two men, it should be the same criteria for gays as it is for straight couples.

Yes, they should be able to marry and adopt. The are human beings just like the rest of us. Being Gay or bisexual is nothing that can be altered or passed down to others.

In nature, same sex partners exist. YES, people should have the divine RIGHT to love whomever they choose. As for the Bible, its the original fiction novel.
