I'm having a teen boy/girl x-mas party. I will accept any ideas- Recipes, games, activities, decor, etc. Really anything. It would be great if I could find a good game that would be fun for couples. (Not in a gross way) Thanks! :)

First make it so everyone has to dress christmas-y. It will give girls a chance to wear santa hats and look all cute and stuff. You should bake sugar cookies and decorate them and cut them in to shapes. You could do a little secret santa thing but make it so the gifts have to cost less than 5 bucks. You all could build a gingerbread house. Sounds stupid but if everyone just adds something to the house whenever they feel like it, it could be cool! and you could eat it! You should of course provide beverages. Apple cider and hot chocolate and other hot drinks should be available. If you have not put up the tree yet you could all decorate it. Christmas music is a necessity but mix it up with other music as well. Decoration wise, just make everything related to christmas- sleighs, bells, wreaths, trees, SNOW!!!
Here are some xmas games you could play!

If you search for bowtie christmas party games on google or yahoo you should get to a bowtieproducts site that will give you 4 new original games that will help make your nite fun.

You may have to give some hints if your guests don't know many carols. Sandys Christmas Carol game is a fill in the blank game with answers provided that might be just right for your group.

For parties like this they work because they give folks something to do while they get warmed up to each other. if they want to talk, they can talk, but if conversation lags games like these take up the awkward silences that many of us dread.

Several of these games have people start singing the songs to get to the answers and that is always a good thing.

Whats nice is that people don't all have to be in it to enjoy it. Some can just help out if asked or enjoy the groaning at the answers.

If links work in the answer blocks here's the link

there is also some party giving advice you may enjoy.

My wife and I made up the puzzles and many people really enjoy them.

I hope they work out well for you

How about trivia games like Scene It, Trivial Pursuit 90's Edition, Scattergories, Twenty Questions, and Name That Tune? Great for groups and the last 2 can be customized for any age.
Here's something you can do that's cheap and easy as party favors for your guests:
Go to Walgreens and buy up as many Christmas tins as you'll need (1 for each guest ) then fill them with some candy like mini candy canes, hard candy, mini candy bars, etc. I filled mine with about 8-10 pieces of candy each, then covered the candy with a little tinsel, and put the lids back on.
Extremely cute, and the tins only cost 69 cents each or 2 for $1. The candy was the most expensive thing, but I was able to buy 30 tins and fill them for less than $25!

When I threw my xmas party for couples, I kept the menu really simple. Snack foods like party trays, dips, crackers, etc. As far as games, we played a really fun game that someone brought along, it was truth or dare jenga. Its a really fun game and didnt lead to anything gross, it was pretty tame. Everyone loved it.

Low lights, loud music, frisk for alcohol. Just let them get on with it. Teens do not "play games" except for computer ones. Have plenty of tissues for the girls who burst in to tears.

Be the cool parent and feed the masses alcohol! Watch them all fall down and make idiots of them selves!

Without playing games, don’t be available 100% of the time or let your life be an open book. A man that comes on too strong or doesn’t have outside interests will scare a woman away just as much as it would if the circumstances were reversed. Read here http://AttractAnyWoman.emuy.info/?q0eK

Women don’t want to feel as though they are completely responsible for your happiness and that is what it feels like when the other person has no outside interests. Men who are overeager or jump when the woman says jump are the ones who are more likely to end up in the friend zone. This doesn’t mean that you should play the game of not calling for a few days; it means that you should set healthy boundaries until you both naturally find a spot for the other in your lives.
