do you mean that three months ago he caught his legs on fire as a result of smoking and gave it up then after the mishap or was his legs bald before that

I don't have very many hairs on my legs, and I don't smoke. Smoking can't cause your hair to fall out due to poor circulation. If I were to tie a belt around my leg and cut off the blood supply, the hairs still would not fall off (though my leg might).

If your husband is curiously hairless down there, and his father was too, I'd say it is more likely to be genetic.

Wow. Some of the people on here have absolutly no idea what they are talking about. SMoking can cause hair loss, although I have never seen the hair loss occur on legs, but my best advice is to do some research perhaps, and potentially see a doctor. Or just wait it out to see if they begin to grow back if not, then see a doctor.

Loss of hair on legs has nothing to do with smoking. Check your razors.

Are you sure that it is due to smoking.
My father and I both only have hairs down the inside of our legs, it is hereditary.

"Hair loss due to smoking ??? What did he do - burn the hairs off ???" - No he probably smokes them.

Seriously though, I have never heard of such a thing, are you sure he usn't shaving them.

Other than that, he could have allopecia in his legs

Where did you get the notion that his hairs are to do with smoking? I feel you are deluding yourself.
