Bush lied when he told us that we could trust Democrats to stand up for America and fight terrorism.
(He either lied, or was mistaken about trusting Democrats.)

All i am going to inform you is this. Terrorism is a 2000 vogue we stay with it right now and we can stay with it for a lengthy time period. do not believe that Bush or all persons can stop it. Terrorism isn't only a collection that is an ideology shared with techniques from tens of millions, that makes it a insatiable source of "combatants". can we see yet another attack on US soil I pray God we do not, yet except we replace our techniques, except we commence heavily wondering about securing our borders and controlling immigration. except this president begins listening to those who somewhat comprehend what they're talking about ... till then not some thing will replace. I advise 3 months previously 911 a memo replaced into delivered to the president affirming ... "al qaeda plans attack on US soil utilising airplanes" Bush suggested it, Condi suggested it, Cheney suggested it, Rumsfeld suggested it ... yet no action replaced into taken. And after 911 got here concerning the issue replaced into delivered decrease back and what replaced into the administration's answer? look into Iraq and Saddam. Has it been that some time previous that one and each and each and every of the Bush supporters look to have forgotten those data? i'm telling you there is way more advantageous in the back of 911 and Iraq warfare then we can ever comprehend. that is fishy as fishy must be. yet some human beings only refuse to look on the data and somewhat plant their heads interior the sand. must be a protection mechanism of a few style.

When you're the president, you can't take someone else's information and use it to start a war, only to deny responsibility for the mistake when the information turns out to be a lie. The problem with having a lot of responsibility, is that you have to be responsible. And your not at all disturbed by the fact that he never admitted the mistake? Instead, they made a massive spin campaign to shift the focus of the war to "The Spread of Democracy" and "The Liberation of the Iraqi People From a Brutal Dictator".Just because he didn't technically lie doesn't make him any less of an idiot or a warmonger.

It appears that many intelligence estimates were, as usual. off by a mile. "Lie" means that Bush new those estimates to be false, and repeated them with the purpose of misleading. Since there's no way to get into his brain on this, especially since many of those who say he lied also call him stupid (which actually undermines their argument that he lied; I'm not sure how capable of intelligence analysis he is, either) this is just another escalation in the partisan war. I'm not a Republican, but it seems you may be. Feel free now to tag Dems with any ugly motives you feel like, whether appropriate or not. Personally, I'm giving the man the benefit of the doubt out of basic manners, if for no other reason.

It is hillarious for you to say I mean lies that are criminal offenses when someone puts your stupid question in its place. HA so sombody comes up with a bunch of stuff and you change the rules. Sounds kinda like how Bush kept changing the reason we were in Iraq evertime his B.S. was proven wrong. Guess what Dakota he has already had laws changed so he wasn't being illegal. Look at the Patriot Act, wire tapping, torture.

You are Naive and so is everyone else who believes that garbage that he just had bad intellegence to go into Iraq. He knew what he was doing grow up and admit it.

P.S. I agree with the guy above me your eyes suck

well under those rules truth seeker then the members of congress who voted for the war lied also. I was never for the war either. I think it was a mistake to try and grant freedom of choice through democracy to a country who's majority of people just don't want it. They have lived in the stone age practically for ever and have that mentality. All they know is dominance and oppression. And seem to only want to kill each other. Sad very sad.

People say that he lied about weapons of mass destruction being in Iraq, but he was seeing the same intelligence reports that congress did when it approved of invading Iraq. European intelligence also believed that Saddam had wmd.
Bush didn't lie, he had faulty intelligence. I don't believe he did lie.

Truth Seeker: YOU ROCK!! So, Dakota, he answered your question very well. Aren't you upset that our president lied to us?

Congress was NOT told that the President was in possession of contrary intel and analysis when he "showed" a select few from Congress his "evidence" for war. He deliberately misled members from both parties.

"The reason I maintain that there was a relationship between Saddam and Al Qaeda is because there was one."

"No one in this administration has ever linked Saddam with 9/11"

"Major combat operations in Iraq have concluded."

"I'm a uniter, not a divider."

"You're doing a great job, brownie."

"As long as I am president, Donald Rumsfeld will be the Secretary of Defense."

We need hearings, for the good of the country.

Truth seeker: Notice how many people, despite the facts staring them right in the face, still defend Bush because they're still in denial? That's one of the problems.

I am sure you must mean, "he ordered intelligence to be falsified to fit his agenda". that's one.
then he lied by saying Iraq had ties with Al Quaeda.
then he lied by saying the UN authorized him to invade.
then he lied by saying the war was won...
what else do you want?
