By "fighting" I mean chasing each other around the cage they don't get hurt but they do make sounds and try to borrow. Is it like mating or something?

Hamsters are crazy! lol, Most hamsters don't get along with other hamsters. They may be just playing, or they may be fighting. I had two boys together who started out like that and then moved on to attacking each other. My suggestion is to separate them.

Usually, the best thing to do with hamsters is keep them alone. They're pretty vicious! Adorable as they may be, lol.

Good luck! :)

Hamsters are vicious little things. They should only be kept one to a cage. (people get away with having them together occasionally, but apparently you're not one of them)

Essentially, they are fighting because that's what hamsters do. They either fight, or they make a lot of babies, and sometimes still fight.

It depends on if the hamsters are male or female. Two males in one small cage will fight.hamsters are territorial.they do fight. but if you have atwo femase hamsters they will get along just fine. but a male and a female together are only good if they mate.

No, it isn't mating, they are fighting. Hamsters do not like to be kept together, they can be territorial, and if they are fighting now, they will eventually fight to the death. I would seperate them ASAP.

Maybe you have 2 boys and they dont get along or maybe the boy is trying to mate with the girl.

If they aren't dwarf hamsters, then that's because you have two together and you shouldn't. Or maybe it's because hamsters don't like being called hampsters.

Hamsters tend to be aggressive towards other hamsters. As far as I know, it is advised to keep a hamster by itself, unless you're trying to breed them.

Hah, no. It isn't mating.

Hampsters can be very territorial, though. If they aren't getting along(watch closely), please seperate them. They can actually grow to the point of killing one another.
