That sounds like something from Stalin or Hitler, its in favour of less freedom, and if Americans are saying it than what the bloody hell is the point of the Iraq war???

It is very free. In this great country that I call the United States of America, or "the good ol' USA" for all yall crazy hippies like this fellow, we are allowed to say what we want its called "the 1st amendment". I don't know what they taught you in them crazy hippie schools but in America we also have the right to leave at any time that we want, did Hitler do that I think not? So why don't you take your head out of the sand lay off the hippie powder and leave if you don't like America.

If you don't love America, you can go somewhere else, somewhere better. Oh, thats right, there IS nowhere better. Criticism only goes so far until you're like John Kerry the biggest hatriot only second to Hugo Chavez. I understand America has its faults (primarily the Bush administration) but i still support what we do and love this country more than anything. We can say what we want, exactly what gives me and other patriots the right to say Love it or Leave it.

In other words...if you don't like where you live...move. People that incessantly complain about the country they live in are useless. If you believe something is truly wrong then do something to change it or move to a country that is more to your liking. It is common sense. Most people quit a job if they hate it. I hardly think the expression is communist. A communist would say that you are where you are and now do what you are told.

Many of us say it because those who don't like America have the freedom to move to somewhere they do like, unlike those under the control of both Hitler and Stalin. They were stuck where they were and had to pretend to like it or be tortured and killed. They and anyone who had anything to do with them. So, it isn't quite the same thing.

Well, it doesn't leave much room for diverse answers but it does I gues give a gist of where your coming from.. And if it were Hitler or Stalin it would be more like here it is, no ands, buts, or ifs, or you die...

Most Americans love our country and it pisses us off when people complain about it. Love it or leave it is simply our way of showing our American pride. You don't have to stay if you don't like it here .....you are FREE TO GO! Unlike other oppressive governments in which you can be killed for voicing your opinion, or you are forced to stay.

At least America gives you a chance to leave on your own accord....but then again how come so many people are trying to sneak in?

It's a stupid mindset. Of course if you truly love your country (wife, etc.), you would try to fix the problem - leaving never takes care of anything.

Saying that is much easier than engaging in rational discourse.

Like I told one of your countrymen. This isn't a free country. It's a gangster state cultivating a bogus image. When're you clowns gonna get that through your heads? America died a hundred years ago.
