Now you've really opened a can of worms, haven't you. Is it murder to kill something that hasn't been born? Who knows what is the right answer? It comes down to your personal belief. But assuming you feel abortion is murder, then I reckon the best scapegoat would be the Politicians who passed the legislation to make it legal. However, you have more chance of hell freezing over than of making any politician accountable for his/her actions. Personally, I don't particularly like the idea of abortion but I prefer it to bringing someone onto the planet who is unwanted and therefore could be badly neglected etc so forth and so on!

didn't this question get deleted before? oh well, anyways it would be both of them that would be held accountable in the end for destroying a life but the mother is the one that made the decision in the first place, so she would be held more guilty of murder than the doctor would. I dont agree with abortion at all, no matter what the circumstances are.

if your not pro life than both are considered murders..now tell me is it best to let a child live knowing that child will be born with a birth defect that cannot be corrected..i personally don't believe in abortion unless it because of rape or the child will be deformed or mentally retarded,, and spare me the someone out there will love it, when so many well developed and highly educated children go unadapted each year.. they look at the prospective parents age and income before the state decides , but dose god look at that when he give people children

This is a hard one. Murder is a sin. When you consider every life a miracle from God. Just because the doctors have the knowledge to do this procedure, and the woman has the choice does not make it right.

It all depends on the situation. When a woman is raped and becomes pregnant, no one is guilty but the rapist. But when the mother wants to get rid of her baby because she wants to keep doing her thing, then she is to blame. But the doctor is never to blame because he is only doing his job.

the woman. she was the one who chose to meet with the doctor to go through with the abortion.

It depends on the legislation.
In some places the mother is guilty, in others they both are and in some places the doctor is and the mother is an accessory or vice versa, in some other places abortion isn't considered murder.
By places I don't necessarily mean the US.

Murder in the legal sense? Neither, abortion is not illegal.
And since we are a nation ruled by law, that's good enough for me.
If it wasn't then I would work to change the law.
