Hmm, I've come close to death alot but somehow seem to pass it.
Just a few months ago my best friends were in a HORRIBLE car wreck. I was in the car 15 minutes if even that before it happened. I had anticipated on staying in the car longer, but my mom had called saying she wanted me home now. My mom usually doesn't do this, as i'm 19. But, she was really mean and stuff we had a huge argument. I came home and 15 minutes later I get a call telling me what all had happened. They brought 4 helicopters because they thought everyone in the car would be dead. If I had been in the car, they said I would have died. My best friends luckily survived but have a long road of recovery ahead of them. I don't know how they are alive today to be honest.

To many to mention, but the worse one was when i was in my late teens me and my mates used to go up to the top of Stoke City's floodlights and just sit there looking at the view and having a few ciggies. This 1 time i just got about 10 foot from the top which in total was about 300 or more feet high, when all of a sudden all these pigeons flew off,and with the noise i just let go and fell back but luckily every so many feet up the ladders were these rings where you could stop to have a break,1 of them was behind me so i fell back onto that or i wouldn't be here now, that's guaranteed.

Once, I almost died from choking on some hard candy at a friend's house wene i was maybe about 6 or 7 year's old, I remember standing over her toilet and tried to somehow cough it out, well, that didn't work, then my friend new something was wrong & so, she went to go get my mom & dad (her parent's had left her all alone that day could you believe that?)But, the second thing I tried worked by swallowing really hard a couple time's and then the hard candy went down. then my mom & dad showed up. And from almost drowning in a pool more than once.~ my mom saved me each time.~

Car smash down in Devises with army friends.
Driver was travelling along a country lane at 90 to 100 mph. He came of because of black ice on a left hand bend. We continued straight on into a tree on the right. Luckily we dipped into a ditch just as we left the road. The cars back end hit the ditch which sent the car on an all four wheels collision with the tree. It dropped back onto its roof in the six foot deep trench, filled with icy water. I had hit the dash board on the earlier impact, whilst the two front seats were broken from there mountings, sending the front passengers into the windscreen. This actually saved me as the two passengers sandwiched me just before I left the back seat.
Once the car had come to rest, the cold water flooded in. Everyone was belted up so the panic set in as the other three struggled to free them selves.Being proffessional personel they shouted instructions all the way through this crisis.
I was lay upside down, having lost all orientation as to where I was. I had smashed my teeth on the dash-board, wrenched my neck and broken my collar bone. The lads grabbed me first, lifting my head above the water then freeing me from the broken seats that held me fast.
I was conscious throughout thanks to them barking! instructions. Outside, they made sure i was alright before calling for army back-up.
I have never been in the army myself but I never once felt like I was left for dead even though the others were in just as life threatening prediciments as me. I truly praise their spirit in difficult circumstances, and hope Im in capable hands if ever need be.
I still traumertise over the crash 10 years on - but those lads always bring me through.!!!

when i was 15, i was working as an apprentice hgv mechanic, i was reparing a lorry tyre which was about 4ft in diameter, when the wires parted and burst the inner tube as i was blowing it up. it sent me flying through the air, and i landed about 10 feet away from where i was! i was knocked out, and since then i have been very wary about inflating tyres.
i have also been involved in many motoring accidents;
hit by a car x2
passenger in a car x5
driver of the car x2
still here though , live and kicking.

Loads of times I been nearly killed, too many to count, but if you are talking of something closer well... On one occasion I had an OBE. I nearly didnt come round after an operation the doctors were very panicked about it. And I have seen two dead bodies, one I discovered when I was 9, the other was my husband in a mortuary.

Contracted septicaemia and cellulitus after being stood on by a horse in Cyprus...wouldn't go to the hospital till nearly too late as didn't want to waste my holiday!

The next year I was in the same hospital with a twisted bowel.

The next year I was in again after falling off my motorbike!

I fell out of a window while hanging up net curtains.

Funny thing is, I never get "ill"!

When one of the wall sockets in my house stopped working, i had to change the panel & its electronics.
Unfortunately no-one switched off the main power to the sockets, so as i was changing it i had this strange tingling feeling inside, then i jerked back.
A split-second before the electronics blew in it & tripped the power in the house.
I had a friend check it, he said if i had not pulled back in the last second, i would have been electruted!!!
