My horse has wqierd symptoms. He rubs his nose on his leg. He also sounds a little different from when he snorts. And yes I have gotten snorted on, I think it's a way of then marking you, since they also ways seem to aim at you.

Absolutly! Horses can even have allergies. Most sneeze when they get dust in their nose after eating dusty hay. If your horse sneezes a lot, hose down it's hay just before you feed it.

FOLLOWING NOTES: Yeah horses itch their noses too. They usually do it after they sneeze..completly normal. And yes, sneezes and snorts sound different. I would only call a vet if they start *coughing* a lot.

Whats up with getting snorted on??? How does this related to the orginial question people!! lol. People can get so side tracked! :)

Yes, my horse sneezes all the time. He also rubs his nose on his leg. It's never given me any problems, and no one's ever thought that it was a bad thing for him to do, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Yes they do sneeze. When they get colds, they frequently sneeze and cough. Hopefully you won't see a horse with a cold because the cold can quickly turn into pneumonia.

Yes horses can sneeze, usually they do so if something gets caught in their nostrils like dust or hay.

They don't really do it often though.. At least, mine didn't sneeze commonly.
