Do you think you'll get it?

Well my sister told me she is getting me something a little expensive but other than that I don't know. I'm not one to make lists. I like Christmas to be low key and simple. Its become too materialistic. I love the holiday but people get lost in the gifts. My funniest time during Christmas is watching kids open presents.

I learned my lesson a long time ago not to expect anything for christmas, evethough I know there will be something there. it sucks when u don't get what u want so I work hard for everything I want and have in life. if somebody gives me something now, I greatly appreciate it without thinking, "this is not what I wanted" it works out better for me and I came to know what the spirit of christmas really is, giving and without expecting!!

I don't "Expect" Christmas presents. I would rather give to someone that needs something than get some silly thing that I can't or won't use.

I expect clothes. With two of us in uni another doing private schooling, and another paying off a school loan...well, there won't be much but at least we have eachother. That's really nice, and is at the heart and soul of Christmas anyway.

I have asked for a book.

Yes I think my husband will probably get it for me.

I ask for a book every year at Christmas and so far I have been lucky every year.
