I had sex about two weeks ago, with protection that remained intact both times. I'm about 2 days late though with no other symptoms but i'm a bit worried and I'd like to ease my mind with a test.. Problem is I don't have the money to go out and buy one or transportation to the clinic. Any ideas where I can take a test for free without my parents knowing?

I'm in the US, and the closest planned parenthood is about 50 miles away.

If you have no other symptoms your probably not pregnant. If your protection stayed intact then your probably not pregnant, just paranoid. After having sex you can be late just because you had sex. Even if your usually regular, stress of any kind can cause your period to be late. I would wait hun. Give it atleast another couple of days before you even worry about it. I know from experiance that it's probably just because the holidays are comming and mid terms, it could be any stress what so ever. Be careful and I believe in a weeks if you still haven't gotten your period you should try to find someone you trust and go to planned parenhood for a free pregnancy test. But remember wait, cause it's probably nothing!

Well, you'll need transportation to go anywhere.
Planned Parenthood, or any local womens health clinic will give you a test for free. Also, the maternity department of your local hospital will usually give you a test for free.

hospital?or go to the clinic and have a friend drive you.however its probably still a little to early to tell..i would wait another week or so...and before u have unprotected sex again maybe u should think of what happened this time.... If your over 16 its not a must that your parents need to know,....however i would talk to your mom and just say what i did when i wa younger and had a scare---> **** breaks!

Go to Planned Parenthood. That is where I got my pregnancy test when I found out about my daughter. Good luck about your parents not finding out.

As far as I know there are not free pregnancy tests. Why don't you borrow the money from a friend? You don't have to tell them that is for a pregnancy test, you need it to be sure.

Your family doctor.
And it's not free, but you can get tests at the dollar store for pocket change. They work just as well, I promise.

This might be a bit late, but if you don't even have the money for a bus fare how are you going to support a baby? Please, do yourself a favor and use a condom the next time!

in NC the health department gives free pregnancy test and sometimes they will also provide the transportation and they dont tell your parent if you dont want them too, they can also give you birth control..pills, condoms, the depo shot..ect...so check your county health department

go to the crisis pregnancy center if u have one. i went to one for a free pregnancy test
