Absolutely. In the U.S. the most extreme forms of violence are deemed suitable for children, but the accidental exposure of a breast is supposed to scar them for life. Completely backwards and weird.

Absolutely. I bought my 12 y/o a movie that was rated pg13 and it was full of killing. It was disturbing. Violence is just as bad if not worse. At least sex is loving in some way. And kids hear bad language all the time. Those things do not cause nightmares and bad behavior. Violence causes violence. I guess until the world grows up I will have to stick to G rated movies. It is sad.

However, video games, unless the violence is graphic or includes blood, I think it's fine.

it doesnt matter rating movies is wrong it cant be done in a fair way parents are the only ones who know whats good for the kid because all kids react to violence or sex differently

I don't think necessarily a bigger deal, but there should be adequate warnings to alert parents (or whoever) of such content when buying a movie/ video game/ etc.

I am not sure. We had a long talk about how looking up unappropriate things on the school computers was not allowed because preschoolers use the same computers but they didn't say anything about violence.
