To be blunt? No. Even if the American people wanted it, you would be hard pressed to find a national level candidate who would agree to run with a member of the other party- especally without being top of the ticket.

Itchy and Scratchy have a better chance of succeeding. That is a pipe dream if I ever heard one. Great idea, as Tony Snow would say, a non-starter.

I vote no, only because I never heard of it.

I am also wary of anything stating it wants "unity." Unity typically means mindless following if it is right-wing or "unity" only if you follow the liberal, left-wing position.
