If there's something like "there's no time for fussing and fighting my friend", then the song is We Can Work It Out.
The lyric is:
Try to see it my way,
Do I have to keep on talking till I can't go on?
While you see it your way,
Run the risk of knowing that our love may soon be gone.
We can work it out,
We can work it out.
Think of what you're saying.
You can get it wrong and still you think that it's alright.
Think of what I'm saying,
We can work it out and get it straight, or say good night.
We can work it out,
We can work it out.
Life is very short, and there's no time
For fussing and fighting, my friend.
I have always thought that it's a crime,
So I will ask you once again.
Try to see it my way,
Only time will tell if I am right or I am wrong.
While you see it your way
There's a chance that we may fall apart before too long.
We can work it out,
We can work it out.

One of my favorite songs is "Gravity" by Sara Bareilles. Definitely check that one out. -Here's some songs for your list: -For a song about saving someone else, try "Never Too Late" or "It's All Over" by Three Days Grace. -For a romantic light rock song, listen to "Ever The Same" by Rob Thomas. -For a sad love song, I would again recommend the song I mentioned above, "Gravity" by Sara Bareilles. -For really good instrumentals, check out anything by Tim Janis. Other songs to listen to: "The Diary of Jane" and "Breath" by Breaking Benjamin (I know The Diary of Jane was a pretty popular song but it's still good, and so is Breath which wasn't as played out.) -"I Will Remember You" and "Angel" by Sarah McLachlan -"Here I Stand" by Madina Lake -"The Wind Beneath My Wings" by Sheena Easton (Definitely a song about standing by, helping, and holding someone like you wanted.) -"Take Care" by A Change of Pace -"Love Song" is a pop song by Sara Bareilles, but it's catchy and the lyrics aren't that bubble-gum pop stuff with no meaning. Hope I helped!
