Facebook. Myspace has the most hideous web layout I have seen since 1996. Facebook is has an elegant, simple layout and is extremely userfriendly. It is constantly being revised and updated.

Technically, both have become communication tools between peers. However, Facebook originated as a collegiate website and myspace was an open community. I prefer Facebook because it's neat and shows you everything you want to see up front in a clean format with no gimmicks or anything. Myspace however allows you to decorate your page, add music, backgrounds, and what not, a feature I find annoying at times. It pretty much comes down to what most of the people you are hoping to network with are using.

well facebook is nice but i don't know how to get my own...also i have myspace b/c all my friends do and that is where they all r so i would have to say myspace and this is where i have found all my friends ppl i have not talked 2 or seen in a million and one yrs and this is only way i can stay in contact w/ them all myspace

i use both... each has it's different purposes. people from college i use facebook to keep in touch with. family and friends not in college, i use myspace to keep in touch with.
facebook is especially handy because you can find people in a particular class with you if you need to ask a question. however, with family members i wouldn't need that so myspace is sufficient for that.
whatever the case, i check both of them about 5 times a day.

MySpace is probably the better known of the two. However, do be careful what you post! A lot of people browse those sites just to find enough information to steal your identity. Try the below site before you start making it any easier for someone to do it to you.

Facebook. You can find information much faster, since every profile has a prescribed format. More information is shared, but your profile can be set so that only your friends can view it.
Myspace is not very protective of a person's privacy. Everybody can see your profile unless you set it to private. Since MySpace allows you to edit your own HTML code, pages often take much longer to load.
