I bought DR strings for my Dean... actually Dimebag Darrell's signature strings, which i thought would be one of the most durable out there since he was a madman with the tremolo bar... but i've snapped 2 strings in a matter of almost 1 month. Does anybody know of the most durable strings you can get?

I use GHS boomers 9-42 and use them till I decide to change them. but I play light. I let the amp do all the work. and yes I have a floyd. if you have a floyd there might be a few reasons with that alone.
1) clampping down too hard at the nut.
2) a nick on the saddle. when you dive bomb it eats at the string.

I've had really good luck with Rotosounds. Try the .10 gauge.
