This past week, the Philadelphia 76ers of the NBA said that they no longer want Allen Iverson (A.I.) on their team, and that they are interested in trading him to another NBA team. What team do you think that he will be traded to, or what team do you think that he needs to be traded to?

The trick is that Allen Iverson has never been the 2nd best player on a team before. Any team that trades for him had better either not have any other star players, or make it plain to A.I. upfront that he has a role to play. And any team that trades for him had better be prepared for A.I. not to show up to practice. (By prepared, I mean anticipate that this will happen & have a response ready for that eventuality.)

The Celtics, Timberwolves and Mavericks seem to be the ones with the most interest, according to media reports. In Boston, he'd share a backcourt with Paul Pierce. In Dallas, it would be youngster Devin Harris. In Minnesota, I'm guessing it would be Mike James. Whomever trades for him would make room for him, I'm sure, but I'm not sure where he'd be the "best fit."

Putting A.I. on the court with Kevin Garnett, both of whom really want to win a title before retirement, *might* produce the best results.

He is not going to Minnesota, I here he will be going to the Lakers, however the Cllippers could use him the most, I don't know who the Lakers can offer to match his contract but theClippers can offer Maggetti and Livingston and someone else, he will be traded to a westcoast team.

Dump him off to NY Knicks for a bag of balls.
Then the Knicks could just play with 5 ballhog guards that never pass! It would be like backyard pickup!!

he would be a perfect fit for the knicks if they could find some way to manipulate existing contracts. isiah thomas really jacked the knicks franchise in the worst way.
