try changing ur tranny fluid. if that doesnt work then mostly yeah its bad

If it starts slipping or won't shift right or is anything other than normal thats a bad sign.

is it a standard shift if so try to take off in third gear give the gas and then you can tell if the gear if it stalls its not your clutch you rea;;y should ask abt autom car
