i am pregnant and i cant get into an obgyn until jan. I am at least 3 months I dont know what to do. I was thinking of going to the hospital but what would i say and wouldnt that be like taking from others who need medical attention more then me wouldnt that be wrong. i dont know what to do. i had planned on telling my family by christamas and by giving them gifts such as chicken soup for the grandmas soul and little giffts like that with the to be date but i cant do that until i find out plus in jan. i have an exam for hpv virus shouldnt they know before i go and do my testing. I also recently had a miscarriage i need to know everything is okay. I dont know any advise. Ive tride getting in every where.

Ive called planned parenthood all they can do is establish that im pregnet they dont have the medical equipment to do anything more inless im asking for an abortion which isnt the case then they would send me to a abortion clinic.

Ok, last year I had 2 MC one ended in a D & C and the other happened nat. I can not believe that your doctor will not get you in to just confirm the pg. If you feel that you are right now 3 months along and by Jan you will be 4 months you really need to go to the doctor. I am 38 weeks prego right now and HIGH RISK. Is there any way you can call another doctor, and if it is insurance reasons then yes go to the ER. They can not turn you down. If you can call another doctor and see if you can get into that one. Tell them that you have already had a MC and you want to make sure everything is ok, and you really need a sono. If you have to go the the ER just tell them that you are not feeling good and you want to get checked out.

Relax. If you took a HPT and know that you are pregnant, it's still ok to give family members the gifts you are talking about.
January isn't too far off.... hopefully you have an appointment for early in January.
I also just found out I'm pregnant, I have to schedule an appointment tomorrow, so I may not get an appointment until January. So, just go and buy prenatal vitamins, the sooner you start those the better. Take care of yourself and eat well.
As far as the HPV, I have HPV, and it is very rare for it to affect pregnancy, so don't worry too much about it. Talk to your doctor about it, and in the meantime, relax and have a nice christmas.

You dont have to go to an OBGYN- Just call around to some different doctors my doctor was just a family practice. That is a cute idea by the way to give you parents those things. Well i would call around and try to get in sooner than Jan.! FOR SURE

Go to PLANNED PARENTHOOD!
They have sliding scale fees ... what you pay is based on what you make. Lots of times it's FREE. Don't put your baby in danger ... go and get the prenatal care you need. I know it's hard to get in lots of places but Planned Parenthood WILL accept you, gladly
Call 1-800-230-PLAN. Tomorrow. If there's not a clinic close enough to you, they will refer you to another free or low-cost clinic. They will get you in THIS WEEK. Please call.
The equipment they use to establish that you're pregnant is a sonogram machine, honey. Ask them to do a sonogram just to see if the baby's healthy and determine your due date (they have to determine gestational age before an abortion anyway, so I don't see why they can't use the machine to do it for you!). If they won't, ask to be referred to another clinic that DOES have a sonogram machine. But any Planned Parenthood should, if even just to determine gestational age. Which is what you're looking for. Please call again and ask.

I would go into the hospital. Just make up an excuse that works you need to find out if you are pregnant and if so how far along you are ebcause you need the medical treatment if you are. I hope thats works for you. DIid you try the health department?

It concerns me that your OB/GYN wont see you until January when you are pregnant and in need of prenatal care since it is so important.
Honestly, I think you need to speak to another Dr. Ask your friends about their Dr's and when you call make sure that you tell the Nurse the situation; that you believe you are 3 months along and you have not been able to get your Dr to see you to get any prenatal care. My guess is you will be seen that very day.
Prenatal care is so very important though, you can not wait until January.

As long as you are still not having your period, I wouldn't worry too much. Do start taking a prenatal vitamin if you haven't already, eat right and do your kegel's. Good luck!
