Try the Playtex Nurser bottle. It's supposed to be closest to the shape of the breast!

I bottle fed both my children,I don't know how much milk you should give him while you are still breast feeding, but rather than introducing him to a bottle, cause then you will have to ween him from that as well as the breast, put milk or juice in a sippy cup, that's how I got my children off the bottle they preferred the milk to the formula and they were both done w/ bottle at 8 1/2 months!

First find an appropriate bottle for a breastfed baby. Remember in just a few months you will be going to a sippy cup so keep that in mind. They range basically by shapes of the nipple. Second I would mix half and half to see how the babies belly is going to react. Some babies don't tolerate certain formulas, mine had to have a certain kind because his reactions to what they gave him in the hospital. Just go slowly and don't rush.

when you're 'very unfavorable' you're eligible for WIC. the purpose of WIC is to verify that toddlers get adequate food, even if their dad and mom can't have the funds for it. And in case you've been 'very unfavorable' at the same time as infant replaced into born, why did not you breastfeed. Breastmilk IS free. (And WIC would have provided help and suggestion for that too.) AND .. you want a significantly better pediatrician -- you in no way dilute formula. he's eating each and each and every of the time because he isn't any longer getting adequate to eat! (If he's "somewhat" getting 5 oz. of formula each and every 2-3 hours, and is dozing maximum the nighttime, it truly is ... what ... 6-7 feeds? 35 oz.? Nowhere close to too a lot. And he doesn't choose the teeth to eat solids. you're probable also eligible for nutrients stamps and free college lunches on your 5 12 months old. EDIT: i imagine you want to locate money for a tax representative... earnings decrease-off for WIC for a relations of four is 40-one,348/12 months. when you're creating 100 over that, with 2 youthful ones, you're eligible for the EIC AND with 2 baby tax credit, 4 commonly used deductions of 3700 each and each and every and a common deduction of 11,600 (I purely did my taxes...), you need to be paying virtually NO federal earnings tax ... easily no longer 50%. (And sure, if you end up making 40-one,000/12 months, you're making some distance more effective than you would get on welfare.) yet ... on the end of the day, you chosen to have little ones. you want to do even with you need to do to locate the money to feed them wisely ... and that does no longer recommend total milk particularly of formula for a 9 month old. (Oh, and till you've been on chemotherapy at the same time as infant replaced into born, or HIV meds, it truly is VERYunlikely that you've been on any type of medicine that made breastfeeding no longer achievable.)
