20% to a decimal is 0.20. Basicaly you just move the decimal over to the left twice when changing to a decimal and when you want to change it to a percent move the decimal over to the right twice. 1.35 to a percent is 135%. 15% to a decimal is 0.15. Get the idea? Good luck! Also you can multiply a decimal by 100 for instance .50 x 100 is 50.0 also known as 50%. Or you can do 50.0 divided by 100 which is 0.50. Hope that helped. Like if you want to find a grade in percent you got, say you got a 8/10 on a test, you would divide 8 by 10 then multiply by a 100 and you get your percent which is an 80%. ;D

You change a decimal to a % by moving the decimal point two places to the right. Example 0.56 = 56%.
You change a percent to a decimil by reversing the operation.
You can also change a decimal to a fraction by multipling the decimal by 1/100. Example 56 x 1/100 = 14/25 = 0.56

I can give you examples. Take the number .30, which is 30 one-hundredths. Take away the decimal point and add the percent sign %; thus, 30%. To do the opposite, take away the percent sign and add the decimal. If it's a single-digit number, like 5, you add a decimal point and a zero to make .05, or five one-hundredths. For the percent, just take away the decimal point and zero and add the percent sign to make 5% or five percent.

Examples:
1% = .01
10% = .10
100% = 1.00
To change the percent to a decimal, simply drop the % sign and count two spaces to the left and place the decimal.
To change the decimal to a percent to a decimal do the reverse of the above.
