Good Answers from people but a Muppet's Christmas Carol has a good story, Michael Caine plays scrooge well. It's got Kermit in it. It's funny. A good all round family movie. And of course Tim Burtons Nightmare Before Christmas.

It's a wonderful life, fantastic film, Jimmy Stewart is marvelous, Watch out for the scene when the townsfolk bring their money in to save him, he mouths something which my family and I all think is F*** M*.
That profanity aside it is a great family film and always makes me think of Christmas

It's A Wonderful Life is the absolutely best Christmas movies. It never fails to make me bawl. Polar Express is at a close second. Buy them both :)

Scrooge staring Alastair Sim. It is a beautiful film and really captures the spirit of Christmas.

A Christmas Story or The Bishop's Wife (the original, not the remake The Preacher's Wife, although that one wasn't bad).
