No, there is not just one person for every person. There are quite a few people that you could manage to have an amazing relationship with.

But, will it be exactly the same? No. Because we are all different, no matter how much we are like someone, we each have our own quirks. So, it is never the same....

But it sure can be great!!!!

We were all (well almost all) meant to be partnered... evolution just made us that way. And life is far better when shared. Being in love is wonderful --- falling asleep in the arms of the person you love is better than a warm puppy. But things happen in marriages, and we all live far longer than we did even 200 years ago. (The average life span then was 33.... The average now is somewhere around 76). Love, and marriage are admiration, respect, passion and trust, and sometimes things don't work out, and the marriage does not go forward: Each decides to leave the marriage. But the length of a relationship is not the measure of its success.... I have friends who have been married 30 or 40 years, and they hate each other, but cannot financially separate, so they remain "roommates" I have other friends who stayed married 10 or 15 years to the same person, and the marriage was successful, in that it fulfilled each of their needs at the time. Each of these went on to re-marry. The things that make a relationship work--- those four things I just mentioned--- are too wonderful to give only once if a marriage fails.... being partnered is too lovely, hon. So, if for whatever reason a marriage comes apart, either because of divorce or death, there, hopefully will be another relationship to enter. It won't be the same, it may even be better!!!

No, it's not true. You can love many people in many different ways. A "soulmate" basically means "someone you can get along with and whos company you enjoy". There's no limit on the number.

There are no Soulmates, just like there isn't a Santa Clause.....if soulmates were "Real"....then I have had about 6 soulmates so far....so that proves you can have more than 1!

It is all about luck in finding some one that is a soul mate as well as in finding another when such a person is not around for what ever the case may be.

It is best not to get too deep into this soul mate thing and do your best in a relationship and what ever way it goes we are all human after all. Those of us that have tried and failed in relationships, the ineptitude is a wealth of knowledge if you know how to use it well in a prudent manner in another relationship.

One great love? I hope not. Soulmate? Doubt it.

I think there can be more than one "perfect" partner for some people and others will only find one. If you have one you think is the one, do everything you can to hold on to the relationship in case that is the only one.

People believe that there are more than one. I have only found one. Maybe I'm unlucky.
