There is one medium size spot of white paint on our red brick fireplace.Any suggestions on what I can use to remove it or cover it up?

try a good stiff wire brush if that doesn't work, try paint stripper. Just dab enough to cover the paint spot cause I'm not sure how it will react with the brick. should be okay though since you can use paint stripper on wood without damage.

Paint stripper, cord brush, endurance and extra paint stripper, cord brushing and endurance and so on. seem up professional graffiti-eliminating products too. even with the undeniable fact that you will get some brick veneers. The are somewhat tiles. some seem as if stacked slate. There are some recommendations there.

Paint remover? Or maybe just a wire brush might work...
