So far you have a 93.

I don't know what grade you need for an A, but if you need a 90 overall for an A, then you need to get an 81 on your final.

But if you need a 94 for an A, then you need to get 97 on your final.

100 + 86 + 94 = 280
280 divided by 300 = 0.93...
right now you have a 93%, you will need at least a 100% to get a final grade of 95% if you get an 83% you will still have a low A-.

15% of 100=15
20% of 86=17.2
40% of 94=37.6
so so far 69.8 out of 75
whateveryou get in the final exam find 1/4 th of that and add to
69.8 toget your grade

100%=1, 86%=0.86, 94%=0.94. Same with the percentages.
So...
0.15(1)+0.2(0.86)+0.4(0.94)
=0.15+0.172+0.376
=.698
.698/.75=.9300... ----> You have a 93% right now.
Assuming you need a 94 to get an A...
.698+0.25(x)=0.94
0.25x=0.242
x=0.968 ----------------> You need a 97% to get an A.

A I will consider is between 85 to 89.9:

a15 + b20 +c40 +x=what grade intended(F)

a=decimal (percentage) coefficent of Class Attendance

b=decimal (percentage) coefficent of Midterm examinations

c=decimal (percentage) coefficent of Writing Assignments

x=decimal (percentage) coefficent of Final Examination

F=grade overall intended(whole percentage)
-------------------------------------------------- we want to solve for d
a=1, b=0.86, c=0.94, x=(whole percentage)mark on final, f=first 85, then 89.9
