No. Won't be effective--it's expired. Besides, you need to see the doctor if you never took it when it was prescribed and now want to start taking it. You may not be able to take the same thing, etc.

If you have a written prescription dated for 7/05 it has expired and cannot be filled. If you have the pills filled on that date they have expired as well. Taking them could mean they would be ineffective and be of no benefit as a birth control method. Meantime you need to be evaluated yearly to renew your prescription to be sure your status qualifies you to take them. No matter which way you go here you need to see your doctor.

Most states have a one-year limit on prescriptions. If these are packages of pills that you've had since July of 2005, then I'd get new ones. If you simply have a paper script that needs filling, call your pharmacy and ask if it's still valid and can be filled.

Check the expiration date on the disc. Don't start in the middle of a pack, and when you take all you have, you will need a new prescription (prescriptions are only good for a year), and will also need a doctor's visit for a PAP, breast exam, etc.

no.

I belive rx's only have a life of 5 days - 1 month depending on where you live. But I'm sure that none would be valid after a year. call your local pharmacist to find out if he/she would be willing to fill it.

No, just call the doc that gave you the script and he'll call in a new one to the pharmacy.

I would call up the doctor's office first to see if they would approve it
