1) Take prenatal vitemins. Some people will tell you that the brand matters, but really just take them.

2) Eat like your normally would, avoiding alcohol and raw food. Wash your hands, but you'll be fine. You'll find out later that certain foods upset you more than others. Eat when you're hungry. Your body will tell you what to do. Try to eat many fruits and veggies, mainly because everyone could benefit from that.

3) Try taking a warm-ish shower. Taking a hot bath is out of the question, but try a warm bath.

4) For sex, just find a position you like best and go for it. Personally it worked best for me to be on top when I was pregnant.

It's obvious that you want the best, but really the only thing you can do is listen to your body. Don't do what hurts, and eat when you need to. Drink lots of fluid, and go to your doctor.

Talk to your health care provider, and go to the library and check out a book on pregnancy. Eat a variety of fresh foods, drink lots of water, avoid tobacco, alcohol, caffeine and all drugs. Stay away from hot tubs and very hot water, as it affects your blood pressure. Sex is fine, though they say no blowing into the vagina. Spend your pregnancy doing things you enjoy, and get some regular, light exercise. Yoga, swimming, and walking are all great. Congratulations!

First you need to relax, the more you worry about everything the higher your blood pressure goes. Chill out and enjoy this time. What you need to do is get the book, sign up on the pregnancy websites that send out a weekly news letter, and get a prenatal appointment and ask all the questions that you have. But you need to relax hun. Worrying only makes things worse!
