Actually, Land's End is also the archway in Cabo. So, my answer is "Mexico" if you sail east. The answer is "USA" if you sail west as you'll hit the Hawaiian Islands.

without looking at a chart, if you went east France and west Canada
and for those who dont know, Lands End is the SW tip of England....the mail order store in America took their name from there....
