Hi guys, i came off the pill in october and waited 39 days to have my period. I came on 22nd november. (trying for baby)
I have sore breasts for about a week and a half now more to the nipples when i touch them and putting on bra's.
I was wondering is this normal? as nomally i have sore breasts just before my period, but this seems to be going on for ages, and i dont want to get my hopes up just yet! bearing in mind i have just come of the pill, nnd periods could be irregular.

Well, breast changes are one of the *the* major signs of early pregnancy, particularly first time around. However, by my calculations, you are now on day 19 of your cycle? Even if you had a 28 day cycle and conceived on the "average" day 14, it would still only be a few days since conception and the fertilised egg wouldn't have had a chance to implant into the wall of your uterus yet, which is when pregnancy hormones start to enter your system.
If you still feel different to normal in another 10 days or so, take a home preg test... but bear in mind that depending when you ovulate, you could conceive at any time. If you were to have another long cycle, you might not yet have ovulated.
I know how hard it is not to get your hopes up when you really want to pregnant - every slight difference and you can't help thinking to yourself, "is this it?!". On balance I think it's probably too early, but stranger things have happened.

Caffeine is a large contributor to sore breasts before and after your menstrual cycle also nylon bra's can be very irritating to your nipples. I would count on your missed menstrual cycles and a reliable pregnancy test to be sure if you are pregnant and not get your hopes up to soon!

I got very sore breasts when I was pregnant. Thought it was just PMS or because I came off the pill, but I was pregnant!
Do a test, you might be pleasantly surprised!

really strange reading your question tonight. I have had breast pain before every period. but this past week its been bad, going on for longer, hurts putting a bra on. really not normal for me. and quess what..... i am pregnant!!
Get a test tomorrow if your period is over 1 day late. good luck xxxx

yes.. it's normal.. i'm five weeks pregnant and my nipples have been sensitive since I hit my five weeks.. totally normal..

this is a problem that can be treated by a dentist..have your boyfriend to have his overbite corrected.
