It was going to be made, but then Universal Studios canceled production.
From my source - "Reasons cited for ditching this massive cinematic undertaking include rising film costs, concern over inexperienced director Neil Blomkamp, Peter Jackson’s refusal to get off his fat *** and take the reigns, and the inability to find midgets that squeal just right to play grunts."

Well, I'm not sure of a Halo movie, but there is little clips made called Red vs. Blue

No, there is not a Halo movie, and there will never be. There won't be because of the lack of purpose to it. But don't worry the game is a success.

I see an imdb page for it (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0464037/) but its status is pretty much unknown right now. They could find another director or something in the meantime.

yes there is going to be a movie.....the script has already been bought.....and Denzel Washington is going to be Master Chief.

i dont think so they hardly ever make movies for vidoe games, in fact it only happened once, with the italian job
